The Chaga (Inonotus obliquus), also known in the Netherlands as berkenweerschijnzwam, is a special mushroom that grows mainly in cold regions such as Siberia, Canada and Northern Europe. On the outside this mushroom looks like charred wood, but inside it is deep orange in colour. Within traditional nutrition, Chaga is known as a source of natural substances such as betulin, betulinic acid and polysaccharides. The capsules contain a powerful full-spectrum extract from the fruiting body, enriched with vitamin C and zinc for extra support of the immune system and energy metabolism.*
