CBD and the endocannabinoid system

CBD is a non-psychoactive component of the hemp plant and is often used for many different medicinal purposes. How do I give CBD to my pets, for example...

In people, the oil is dripped under the tongue and rinsed away after 30 seconds with a large glass of water. You can probably imagine that this is practically impossible in the case of pets. For that reason it is often recommended to drip the CBD oil, without terpenes, over the food. That way the animal takes in the CBD through its food. In that case absorption will not occur through the mucous membranes of the tongue, but via the animal's stomach and intestines.
